A man waiting to board an aircraft at Ronald Reagan airport, just outside Washington D.C., had the last laugh after a woman attempted to embarrass him yesterday morning.
Emmit Walker was about to board a flight to Miami -the first leg of his trip to the Dominican Republic- when the woman accused him of being in the wrong boarding line.
Walker claims she said “excuse me, I believe you may be in the wrong place. You need to let us through. This line is for priority boarding.” He asked her if she meant that he needed a first class ticket for priority boarding.
She replied, “yes, now excuse me they will call y’all after we board.”
Walker showed her the first class ticket he bought to for his week vacation to celebrate his birthday. “You can relax mam. I’m in the right spot. [I’ve] been here longer, so you can board after me,” he claims he said.
Apparently proof that he had a first class ticket wasn’t enough to satisfy the woman about his place in line. Walker claims she said, “he must be military or something, but we paid for our seats so he still should have to wait,” to the rest of the people in line.
Walker remained calm despite her attempt to embarrass him and the United States military. He says he told her, “nope to big to ever be in anybodies military. I’m just a nigga with money.”
He claims everyone in line started clapping -giving him the last laugh.
Then he settled into his larger, more expensive seat on the plane, grabbed a drink and started watching “Baby Driver.”
No entitlement was going to ruin this big man’s b-day. Hats off to you sir for keeping it classy.
