Marines with Company C, 1st Reconnaissance Battalion conducted a free-fall and static-line jump aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Calif., June 25, 2014. The Marines jumped from CH-46 Sea Knights at approximately 10,000 feet for free-fall and approximately 2,000 feet during the static-line jumps. Conducting free-fall and static-line jumps ensures the Marines are capable of being deployed into any location as quickly as possible.
