Video: Marine veteran protected students during Ohio State attack

During the shooting and knife attack at Ohio State University, many saw a picture that was tweeted students barricaded in a classroom. If it wasn’t for one student, who is a Marine veteran, it may never have happened.

Bobby Fair told Fox 23 his Marine training allowed him to jump into action when Ohio State issued the alert of an active shooter.

“We could actually look outside and see the body, that’s how close [we were],” Fair told FOX23. “It’s just crazy that it happened so close and someplace I thought I could be safe.”

The attack carried out by a Muslim student, Abdul Razak Ali Artan,  left 11 people injured but could have been more if it wasn’t for one Marine’s quick thinking.
