Video: ISIS child beheads man in attempt to provoke US into ground war

A video has surfaced, reportedly originating from the Islamic State, showing a child soldier of African descent beheading an official with the Levant Front for failure to implement Sharia Law.

In the video, the boy executioner informs the U.S. in English that the Islamic State will destroy the US-allied rebel groups in Syria, such as the Levant Front- a coalition of Aleppo-based Syrian civil war rebel factions formed in December 2014 and made up of apolitical and mildly Islamic groups with the goal of overthrowing Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

Addressing the United States further, the boy says, “You can’t escape from coming on the ground. I wish I meet on you on the hills of Dabiq”, referring to where the Muslim version of Armageddon is prophesied to take place. It has been suggested that ISIS is trying to draw the United States and its allies into a ground war in Dabiq to hasten the fulfillment of this prophecy.

According to watchdog group Terror Monitor, the individual being executed is reported to be an alleged “religious jurist” named Muhammad Tabsho, a Levant Front official who failed to implement Sharia Law.
