Video: Dakota Meyer calls bluff on ISIS threats

Dakota Meyer starts off his minute and a half long video by saying: “I’m not big on these videos, but…..”

Meyer had to make an exception in this case. He decided to pull over to the side of the road and record his thoughts on the latest warning from ISIS, that they have jihadist soldiers “awaiting orders in 15 states.”

Clearly very upset over the claims–which have flooded the airwaves over recent months–Meyer felt compelled to hit record.

“We have trained soldiers in all 50 states…. we also have disgruntled vets in every state that are armed and trained…. actually the same guys that were kicking your ass the last 14 years on your own turf.”

Meyer then spouts off a few stats on guns in America. Then, he speaks to the enemy directly: “We live in the greatest country on the face of the planet, do you understand that?  It’s not going to change anytime soon.”

He dares the ISIS terrorists to “bring their beliefs to the greatest country on earth.” Americans will never let it happen, he repeats. “No matter what you believe… your Islamic radical bullshit … it’s not going to change that.”

Meyer asks for a “second opinion” as he wraps up his video message, pitching to fellow service member, Marcus Luttrell – U.S. Navy SEAL and author of the national bestseller, “Lone Survivor.”

Under the video on his Facebook page, Meyer wrote the caption: “ISIS has a warning. Well so do I. If you’re not willing to stand for your country against these animals you don’t deserve the right to live here.”

Meyer—a Medal of Honor and Purple Heart recipient–deployed to Fallujah, in 2007 as a Scout Sniper with 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines. He gained national attention for his actions in Afghanistan during his second deployment to Kunar province.

Sgt. Meyer completed his active duty in 2010 and now serves in the Individual Ready Reserve of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
