
The Navy and local police in Tumon, Guam are looking into a street brawl that took place early morning Sunday.
The fight was captured on video and has been widely shared on social media.
“We are aware of the fight that occurred in Tumon early Sunday morning. Joint Region Marianas and (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) are looking into allegations that those involved in the fight were active-duty service members,” said Joint Region Marianas spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Rick Moore. “Joint Region Marianas and NCIS are in contact with Guam Police Department regarding the incident.”
Chalee JR, a comedian, who was present at the nightclub where the brawl occurred, posted a video on social media about the incident.
He stated the fight was actually longer but it was not captured in the video.
Chalee JR fled to his rental car where he says, the brawl continued and almost damaged his vehicle.
He also condemned the action of the service members.
“C’mon man, we are visitors here,” he said.
