An active-duty service member confronted a group of evangelists who were loudly preaching during the Penn State game in Pennsylvania, prompting the evangelists to challenge his faith.
The unidentified service member, initially annoyed by the loudspeaker evangelism during last Saturday’s Penn State Blue-White football game, approached the young preacher and questioned what he was doing there.
The evangelist responded to the service member over the loudspeaker, insisting that he was preaching “the word of God” and citing that “you’re going to Hell if you don’t believe in Jesus.”
The service member explained that he fought so that all may practice their religion, which prompted the evangelist to say he was not “a believer”. Shortly afterwards, the two unravelled into an argument that ultimately resulted in both parties summarily dismissing each other.
