US Army soldier killed during a helicopter crash in Georgia

A crash involving two Army UH-60 helicopters took the life of a soldier in Georgia early Wednesday morning.

Army officials stated the crash involving two helicopters from Fort Stewart’s Wright Army Airfield happened at around 2 a.m. 

According to FOX5, the soldier who was killed was a member of the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division.

Their name will be released after their family is notified of their death.

Wright Army Airfield was closed by the Army until further notice as they investigate the crash.
