Tim Kennedy is an active, Ranger qualified, Green Beret, Special Forces Sniper with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as other locations around the globe. Currently Tim is assigned to Special Operations Detachment (A) as a Senior Special Forces Weapons Sergeant.
Tim is also an American professional mixed martial artist who currently competes in the UFC’s Middleweight division. He is currently ranked #13 in official UFC Fighter Rankings with a record of 18-5.
In June, he teamed up with InfoWars to launch the “True Patriot Movement,” to bring special insights on liberty, human empowerment, and the quest for freedom.
Yesterday, Tim released a “True Patriot Movement” video vowing his support for the nation’s law enforcement.
In his Facebook post, he proclaimed:
“At every opportunity we rush to judgment (after the fact) about the decisions and actions that our Law Enforcement have to make. I know these men and women and I promise you…. They are the best of us.
In the past week we have seen them risk their lives trying to find bombs planted by a terrorist. An off duty officer shooting a knife wielding radical who had stabbed 8 people. We have seen them in a gunfight on the street arresting a man committed to the destruction of everything we hold dear. We heard about them stopping a car full of fanatics on their way to the JFK airport with hate in their hearts and an intent to hurt even more Americans. The irony is that these are the SAME men and women that just two weeks ago we were told were prejudice towards and incapable of serving the community they have sworn to protect. Ferguson, Baltimore, Albuquerque, are all examples of the Police trying to do the right thing.
My question to you is what have you done to help? Does taking a knee on the field change anything? How are you supporting the men and women risking their lives everyday to protect us. They are demonized by the media and political class, they are underpaid, underappreciated, and in some neighborhood hated. They need our help. They need our support. We are committed at to affecting real change.”
In his video he argues that there is nobody better to help this community than him, so he is stepping up to do so.
“I’ve been a marital artist for 30 years. I have maybe a complete unique skill set in the world. I don’t think there is anyone on the planet that has the amount of experience in fighting and the amount of experience in shooting as I do. I’ve been to every single combat school that the Army has. I’ve been to every single casualty producing school that the military has. I’m a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. I’m a black belt in combatives. I’ve dedicated my life to being somebody that is hard to kill.
“I’m going to pour my life and my heart into making sure I can give these skills to the guys that need it.”
