Federal marshals are asking the public for help in locating a staff sergeant, who reportedly threatened his superior with a led pipe, then fled from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base near downtown Tuscon, Arizona.

An arrest warrant was issued last week for 26-year-old Jhoan Manuel Catano, for desertion from the United States Air Force, aggravated assault and kidnapping.

After Catano fled the base, officials say he was given a ride from a woman, who was his friend. Catano allegedly threatened the woman with a knife, and then forced her to drive him around Tucson, according to an article in the Arizona Daily Star.

The Marshals Service considers Catano to be armed and dangerous.  He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 154 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes, and tattoos on both of his upper arms. They are urging anyone with information to call 911.
