Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for the death of TSgt. Joshua Kidd.
Joshua Kidd, 30, died September 25 after being shot outside his home near Bossier City, Louisiana.
He was a Loading Standardization Crew Team Chief at Barksdale Air Force Base and had been in the Air Force for ten years.
Kidd’s neighbors originally believed he may have confronted a burglar who shot him since there had been burglaries in the area.
Bossier City Police Department detectives said they collected enough evidence, over the period of the last week, to charge Jareona Crosby, 17, and a 15-year-old juvenile with Kidd’s murder.
The two were also charged on separate warrants each for ten counts of simple burglary of a vehicle and one count of theft of a firearm, according to KTBS.
The two were booked at the Bossier City jail on the charges and transported to Ware Youth Center juvenile detention center. Jail records indicate Crosby is a 125 lbs black female but no identity or records are listed for the 15-year-old juvenile.
