In a surprising turn of good press for the Presidential candidate, Donald Trump did a job interview and hired a veteran on the spot at his Washington, DC press conference yesterday.
Trump discovered the woman when she asked him a question concerning veteran employment at his new Hotel in DC, according to Daily Mail.
“She looks so smart”, Trump responded. “She asked a question and it was a very positive question. She looks like she’s got a great look.”
After she listed her job qualifications, she gave Trump a hug and kiss before being whisked away by Trump’s associates.
The woman -identified as Alicia Watkins of Maryland- is 9/11 survivor, Iraq and Afghanistan vet and a retired Air Force staff sergeant, also claims she was once homeless.

In 2010, Watkins appeared on Oprah and also last year took part in a ‘Where Are They Now?’ Segment, when she informed the world that she had been accepted to Harvard University on the G.I. Bill.
Trump claimed his “gut instinct” told him to hire her. He later told press that “If we can make a good deal on the salary, she’s probably going to have a job.”
Trump is currently using his star-power as a Presidential front-runner to promote his businesses, particularly the Trump Hotel in Washington, DC.
