A former Fort Bliss soldier has taken a plea deal for abusing minors while under the influence of LSD.
Zakary Frampton, 27, accepted the eight-year prison sentence on March 17 for injuring a children in 2019.
Frampton, who was on active duty at the time, was at an El Paso house when he took LSD.
According to KXAN, the former Soldier “put on white gloves and attached party lights to the ends of his fingers to increase his reaction to the drug.”
After having a negative reaction, he began to fight two other men in the house and severely injured a 3 and 7-year-old, respectively.
Shortly after, Frampton was reported to police by neighbors, ho saw him running around the street naked wearing finger-light gloves.
The incident, and subsequent arrest was captured on a doorbell camera.
The 7-year-old was intubated at the hospital shortly after, suffering a severe brain bleed.
