A former soldier in the Army Reserves was quick to go completely dark on social media after she shared “TMI” about her personal life at home.

Marlene Muhonen made her disappearance from social media while serving as a reserve component Soldier with the 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command in Demois, Iowa in 2021.

At the time, Muhonen had over 23,000 followers on TikTok and even had a video featuring her direct supervisor, “SGT Boujee,” go viral -racking up over 800,000 views.

She was poised to be an influencer with the possibility of earning a decent income outside the military but it all came to an end with one video.

The video was detrimental to the image of servicemembers and the Army Reserves was quick to distance themselves from it.

The video featured her holding a camera while her husband attempted to give her “third brown eye” a shave.

“Your butt’s too big,” her husband said. “Your cheeks weigh ten pounds a piece.”

Muhonen’s husband served in the same unit as his wife before the video was made and was working as a civilian security guard at the time.

Not long after news of the video began to circulate, Muhonen took down her social media accounts and disappeared.

When the Army Reserve Public Affairs Command caught wind of the video they were quick to distance themselves from it, stating she no longer served in the 103d Expeditionary Sustainment Command or the U.S. Army Reserve.
