Six Americans killed in helicopter crash involving peacekeeping force in Egypt

Six Americans were among the eight personnel killed after a military helicopter crashed in Egypt.

The helicopter went down on Thursday in what officials are claiming was an accident.

The Multinational Force and Observers stated that “there is no information to indicate the crash was anything except an accident.”

According to CNN, two other personnel were killed, hailing from Czechia and France, respectively.

One American is reported to have survived the incident.

It is unknown what type of helicopter was involved or what military it belonged to, though it is assumed to be American.
