Update: Alameda County Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement: “All clear at Camp Parks. Base lock down has been lifted. Situation unfounded. Thanks to all first responders and the community for support.”
Reports of a gunman at a U.S. Army Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in northern California have locked down the base.
According to the Associated Press, Alameda County sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Kelly said, no one has been spotted and those reports have not been confirmed.
Update: search of the base is about 70% complete. Once again no active threat. Please be patient as we finish up the search.

The Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area -just north of Pleasanton, California- is a semi-active mobilization and training center for Army Reserve personnel.

Multiple police agencies from areas east of San Francisco are searching the center.
The school superintendent in Dublin, California ordered all students to shelter in place (not a lock-down) at all schools in summer session as police investigate continue to investigate. Parents will be allowed to pick up their children from area summer schools.
