Yesterday’s episode of Sacha Baron Cohen’s “Who is America” featured an interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney and it turned out to be far worse than promised.
Disguised as an Israeli terrorism expert by the name of Erran Morad, he asks, “You started so many wars — Afghanistan, Iraq 1, Iraq 2 — which was your favorite war and why?”
“Oh, I think it was what we did in Desert Storm, I really do. I never thought of it as having a favorite war,” Cheney replied.
“I have killed some terrorists. How does it feel being the king of terrorist killers? I mean, you killed 100,000 actual terrorists and about 700,000 potential terrorists,” Morad says.
“Well, it was never personal. I wasn’t in the same position you are where it was kill or be killed,” Cheney responded.
The interview continued with more cringe-worthy questions and, as promised, including the question that was shown in the 20-second promo released earlier this month.
“Dick Cheney, is it possible to sign my waterboard kit?”

Since the airing of the episode, the signed water jug was listed on Ebay (it has since been removed) for $1,700.
“Here is a rare opportunity to own a WATER BOARD BOTTLE SIGNED BY the Godfather of the sport – American war hero and all-round mensch, VICE-PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY,” the product description read.
Episode 3 is available for viewing on Showtime on July 29th.
