
Russia showcased some of its newest military equipment in the Victory Day parade held on May 9th, 2014 in Moscow. Victory Day is one of the most important holidays in Russia, marking the capitulation of Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union in World War II. The parade included new Russian “Typhoon” combat cars and Tor-M2U anti-aircraft missile systems. Also making appearances were Russian Special Forces, self-propelled artillery and Topol-M missile launching units, along with a host of other military equipment.
