An Iraqi television station broadcast video showing Iraqi troops battling Islamic State militants in the restive city of Baiji, north of Baghdad. (Nov. 6) Baiji is a key city for the Iraqi’s to maintain control of as it has the largest Oil refinery in Iraq. Back in June ISIS took control of the refinery and executed hundreds of Iraqi Army recruits. One recruit that was able to escape was recounts his story of ISIS’s brutality in an interview with Time Magazine.
