Prostitution and Porn charges tied to Army medic accused of conspiring with mistress to kill his wife

New allegations have surfaced in connection with the murder investigation of an Army Medic’s wife – who was stabbed to death in the couple’s Hawaii home in 2014.

During a military judicial hearing on Wednesday, Army prosecutors accused Michael Walker of possessing and viewing child pornography and receiving money in exchange for sex with men. Walker’s Army defense attorneys declined to comment about these recent allegations.

Sgt. Walker has pleaded not guilty in civilian court to a murder charge in connection with the stabbing death of his wife Catherine. In December–  his lover, Ailsa Jackson, pleaded guilty to murder and described in a Honolulu federal courtroom “how she stabbed Catherine Walker and then waited a half-hour to make sure she was dead.”

Catherine and Michael were married for more than 11 years and were about to undergo in-vitro fertilization after about a decade of trying to have a baby, said his attorney in the civilian case. The attorney added that Walker did have an affair with Jackson, but he “loves his wife and didn’t want her killed.”

Jackson and Walker met on an online dating site, where he reportedly told the young woman that his “deepest desire” was  to have his wife gone, but he couldn’t divorce her. The Asst. U.S. Attorney said the two then discussed Jackson carrying out the murder, while Walker was at work, so that he would have an alibi.

As we first reported in November 2015, Walker did have a solid alibi. The 36-year-old medic was at work at the Tripler Army Medical Center — when his wife was killed.

As part of a plea agreement, Jackson is expected to be sentenced to about 30 years in prison in exchange for testifying against Walker. He is scheduled to go to trial this year in the murder case.

In the meantime, the military is considering whether he will be court-martialed for child pornography and prostitution charges. A spokesman for Tripler Medical Center said, “Sgt. Walker is alleged to have posted on Craigslist soliciting individuals to engage in sexual acts in exchange for his receiving money…Sgt. Walker is alleged to have solicited three men to engage in sexual contact.”

A hearing officer will review the allegations and evidence– which includes “92 photos and 19 videos” that were found on his laptop, according to ABC News. At that point, a recommendation will be made about whether Walker should be court-martialed.
