Police uncover Coast Guard officer’s plot to kill politicians after he’s arrested for drugs and weapons

A US Coast Guard Lieutenant with ties to Neo-Nazi movements is in the custody of law enforcement after being busted on numerous drug and weapons charges.

Maryland native and USCG Lieutenant Christopher Hasson was charged with possession of firearms and ammunition by an unlawful user or addict of controlled substances, as well as possession of tramadol.

However, the fruits of the crime initially used to bust Hasson paled in comparison to what lay beneath the surface- upon further investigation, authorities discovered a deeply-disturbed individual who hoarded prescription medication, stashed a handful of firearms, communicated with leaders of white supremacy movements and even seemed to worship far-right Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, citing him as inspiration for his own attack plans.

In short, Hasson was a series of “red flags,” and seemingly nobody was any the wiser.

Court documents obtained by Heavy shows that Hasson -who had served in the Marines from 1988 to 1993, did two years with the National Guard and later commissioned into the Coast Guard in 2012- worked in Washington DC at the US Coast Guard Headquarters, with his job description falling under “National Security Center Acquisition.”

Since 2016, Hasson was reportedly obtaining prescription painkillers from an unidentified individual believed to be in Mexico.

The US Coast Guard began investigating Hasson after he began looking up extremist topics on his work computer, as well as frequenting extremist websites while on the job.

In 2017, Hasson reportedly wrote a letter to a “known American Neo-Nazi leader,” identifying himself as a “skinhead” for three decades, long before he joined the military.

“I never saw a reason for mass protest or wearing uniforms marching around provoking people with swastikas etc.,” Hasson wrote. “I was and am a man of action you cannot change minds protesting like that. However, you can make change with a little focused violence.”

In other communiques, he was found requesting information on how to commit biological terrorism, as well as revealing plans to conduct a “bombing/sniper campaign.”

As one reads on, the delusions of a mentally broken man begin to surface.

Despite a mainstream media focus on several Democratic leaders and left-leaning TV personalities, Hasson was clear in his motive to attack people of multiple political ideologies in an attempt to stir the chaotic pot amongst the masses.

“During unrest target both sides to increase tension,” he wrote. “In other words provoke gov/police to overreact which should help to escalate violence. BLM protests or other left crap would be ideal to incite to violence.”

Many of Hasson’s ideas and “hit lists” seemed to be directly copied from the style of Anders Brevik, the Norwegian terrorist who killed 77 people in his 2011 attack.

Police seized fifteen firearms and around 1,000 rounds of ammunition from Hasson’s home, along with drugs, a kit to pass a urinalysis test and even human growth hormones.
