PHOTO: A U.S. Marine K-MAX unmanned cargo aircraft prepares to take off at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan on May 19th, 2014. The unmanned aircraft can resupply outlying forward operating bases, thereby reducing the number of Marines and vehicles needed for resupply. So far, the system has moved 3.4 million pounds of equipment and has flown 1,900 flight hours since its arrival in 2011. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Frances Johnson)
