Paratroopers of the 173rd Airborne’s 2nd Battalion -known affectionately as “The Rock”- have challenged Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to be their guest of honor at the Sky Soldiers’ formal military ball next March.
1st Lieutenant Dillon of Battle Company 2/503 PIR challenged Johnson to come out via YouTube video while performing a company live-fire exercise in Latvia.
“We’d like to formally invite you to be the guest of honor March 24th, 2017,” Dillon said, noting that the event takes place at the 173rd’s home in Vicenza, Italy. “That’s what The Rock is cookin’.”
Dillon gave his appeal to Johnson as Multicam and snow camo-clad paratroops moved forward on a simulated enemy position, machine guns singing in perfect harmony.
