Pararescuemen Rescue Burn Victims


U.S. Air Force Pararescuemen with the 55th Rescue Squadron rescued critically burned sailors from a skiff 600 nautical miles off the Pacific Coast of Mexico on May 5th, 2014. The Pararescuemen hoisted the burned sailors into a HH-60G Pavehawk helicopter and transported them to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they were transferred to a HC-130J Combat King II that flew them to the University of California, San Diego, California regional burn unit.
