New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says he wants the United States military to strike back at Islamic radicals in retaliation for the Orlando terrorist attack.
According to NJ, Christie told a local New Jersey sports radio station that “radical Islamic terrorists are out to kill us” and that it should spark a military response.
“You’ve got to get over there and make them pay where they live,” Christie said on WFAN’s Boomer & Carton Show.
“It is unacceptable to allow this type of stuff in our country and for us to not fight back,” he said. “We’ve got to fight back.”
While the Governor was not specific as to where the retaliatory attacks should take place, he closed in saying that “you just have to pray for those victims and their families.”
Christie has gone on record in saying that the US has a choice in whether to “sit there and take it” or “bring the fight” to terrorists.
“It is not our fault this hate exists in the world,” Christie said, according to the Bergen Record. “But it is our responsibility, in my opinion, to eradicate this hate in the world.”
