NBC journalist confronts fake Marine outside military base

A journalist with the local NBC affiliate has received numerous emails about a man panhandling under the guise of a homeless Marine veteran outside Fort Lee, Virginia.

Henry Bauman sits outside the U.S. Army base with a sign that claims he is a “USMC vet” and homeless, but according to NBC, “he’s never served one day in any branch of the military, let along the Marines.”
