Norfolk PD is investigating a case of road rage involving a Navy sailor who says the shooter didn’t like the way he was driving.
Jordan Sam says another driver shot at him twice because he was driving too slowly. Sam told the local CBS station he was going the speed limit Wednesday afternoon, driving along a small neighborhood road, when the other car sped around him.
“He didn’t like how slow I was driving,” Sam told WTKR.
The two exchanged words twice and the other driver followed Sam into the parking lot of the “No Linez Barber” shop. That’s when he started shooting at Sam, police said.
One bullet shattered the driver side window and the other hit a nearby second-story apartment. Sam suffered a few cuts on his face from the broken glass, the report said.
“You don’t even need to be driving if you have that much anger towards somebody you don’t even know,” Sam said.
After the shooting, he drove to the Food Lion on Tidewater Drive to call police. Detectives have been scouring the parking lot for evidence, as the suspect is still at large.
There isn’t much known about the other driver, other than he was in a gold Honda vehicle. Anyone with information is being asked to call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP
