National Guardsmen were seen issuing vaccines at a convenience store- not exactly the sterile environment one would thing of when they consider “getting the jab.”
The clip, which was filmed in Texas, was posted by the official Dallas County Health and Health & Human Services Twitter account to promote getting vaccinated.
“We’re going out tonight too administering the #COVID19 Syringe to bar goers in Deep Ellum” read the tweet. “By getting vaccinated you’ll be able to enjoy going out again knowing that you’re safe & protected.”
According to Summit, National Guardsmen were seen issuing a vaccine at a 7-Eleven.

Some netizens questioned the sanitation protocol of the Guardsmen, particularly one that went outside with gloves on after administering shots.
“I hope he changed his gloves before administering the vaccine,” one person tweeted. “Joint Commission 101 on Infection Control: never walk out of patient care area wearing gloves.”
