The Georgia Army National Guard attempted to lighten a tense situation on Friday, dancing the Macarena with protesters in hopes of preventing an all-out riot.
The incident was filmed by a SKYFOX 5 aerial unit for the final fifteen minutes prior to the 8 PM curfew.
The Guardsmen lined up in a standard formation, only to surprise the crowd with the dance.
Interestingly, the protesters were pleased with the display.
Many protesters began to dance with the Guardsmen, and did so until the curfew went into effect.
According to FOX8, the young demonstrators left the area peacefully and no incidents are reported to have taken place.
