The body of a US Army veteran and son to a Scottish restaurant tycoon was found wrapped in a tarp and stuffed into the back of a car in California- and authorities believe he may have been killed by MS-13.
Adrian Bonar was found on October 17, in an abandoned Lexus in Anaheim. Authorities claim that the California Highway Patrol were planning to tow the car when they made the discovery.
Mummy-wrapped in a tarp and secured with duct tape, the body was seemingly intact.
The son of Brian Bonar, the 34-year-old was known to frequent the area.
“It would appear Mr Bonar found himself at the mercy of some heavy-duty criminals,” said a so-called “source” familiar with the incident. “Officers are still working on a motive but it’s no secret these people are happy to use extreme violence at the drop of a hat.”
According to the Daily Mail, Bonar had previously served in the US Army, and had also served in Iraq from 2007 to 2008. Fellow veteran Gustavo Dias said Bonar was “an outstanding Soldier.”
The veteran’s casket was draped with the US Flag during a Monday funeral.
