Robert (Rob) Allen Riggle Jr. is best know for his comedy on SNL and big Hollywood films such as, The Hangover, The Other Guys, Let’s Be Cops, Dumb & Dumber To, 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, and Step Brothers. What most people do not know is he is also a retired Marine Corps Reserve Lieutenant Colonel who deployed to Liberia, Kosovo, Albania, and Afghanistan. After 23 years of service in which he earned a Combat Action Badge, he retired on January 1, 2013.
When Riggle heard the news that “Top Gun 2” was going to be made, he had to be the first to audition. So he teamed up with the Navy’s Blue Angels to show he can handle the rigors of acting while in the cockpit of a real naval fighter.
