A female US Marine veteran attending University in North Dakota has delighted her social media fans with pinup art- and it’s simply the bomb.

Sgt. Rianna Conner, who spent several years in the USMC, teamed up with photographer Robert Alvarado to make pin-up inspired by conflicts of a bygone era.

While her choice of attire and weaponry is rather anachronistic, it’s highly doubtful that any of her 413,000 Instagram followers really care – they’re not there for the history.

According to British tabloid Daily Mail, Conner earned the name “Combat Barbie” while in the US Marine Corps, due to her femininity.

Conner grew up on a farm in central California and is now attending college in North Dakota.
