Marine playing Taps for fallen Baton Rouge officers goes viral

Not long after the July 17th shooting that killed three police officers in Baton Rouge, Duane Leblanc, a Marine veteran and former member of the Marine Corps band, stood in his front yard to play Taps in honor of the fallen men who served his community -one being a fellow Marine veteran.

The video of Duane’s tribute -which apparently took place only a few blocks from the shooting- was posted by his wife, Sherie, and has received over 300,000 views in short period of time. She wrote the following caption: “This just happened in my front yard LOVE my husband Duane LeBlanc”
