A Marine aboard Camp Lejeune has been arrested for kidnapping and assaulting a woman at gunpoint.
22-year-old Mykael Lamont Dashiell is accused of kidnapping his girlfriend from a North Carolina hotel during a domestic incident, according to WNCN.
While the kidnapping was only for a short period of time, Dashiell is accused of further harassing the victim by forcing his way into her home and damaging and stealing property.
He was arrested on June 3rd and charged with first-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault on a female, felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, and damage to property.
