A 72-year-old veteran was left with a broken jaw after a man punched him in the face while inside a hotel lobby.
According to KHQ, Spokane police arrested 35-year-old Cody Hansen on assault charges.
Police say Hansen attacked the veteran after the 72-year-old made a comment to Hansen’s girlfriend about them not wearing a mask.
In the video, Hansen is seen confronting the veteran, who was sitting in a lobby chair. Hansen then throws multiple punches, striking the man in the face.
An anonymous tip led police to Hansen.
Hansen also had a warrant from drug charges in Alaska.
He’s being held on jail until he can meet his $10,000 bail.
