Lower Drinking Age Proposed For Service Members

Should 18-year-olds in the military be allowed to drink? Ron Young (D), would allow active duty enlisted members to drink beer and wine with their military ID.  Washington Regional Alcohol Program and the Maryland Department of Transportation are against the bill and stand firmly behind the 21 year-old age restriction.
