Soldiers laugh at racist Mexican jokes on TikTok

TikTok and the military don’t mix, but the videos keep on coming.

A bit of friendly banter between two Soldiers on TikTok may land them in trouble should their command find out, as the topic concerned jokes about Mexicans.

The jokes, which were told by a blonde Soldier with shaggy hair, were directed towards Private First Class Lilandro of the 1st Cavalry Division.

While the topic could be perceived as “racist” by more sensitive types, the jokes appeared to be “all in good fun,” with all parties cracking up with each delivered punchline.

The jokes ranged from “Juan on Juan” as the term for two Mexicans playing basketball, and that Mexicans will ultimately “get over it,” when asked how they feel about President Trump’s proposed border wall.

“Or under it,” Lilandro chuckled.

At one point, the video’s author, asked Lilandro what a “Mexican without a lawnmower” is.

“Unemployed,” the Soldier said, causing the car to erupt in laughter.

The jokes may seem familiar to older veterans, who had the self-awareness to leave such humor un-recorded, but Generation Z is all about putting it on social media.

The video was posted to TikTok by @3ligro.alvarez, who claimed it originated on Instagram.

It is unknown if the Soldiers’ chain of command has caught on.
