Munir Abdulkader, 21, pleaded guilty to plotting to carry out a terrorist attack orchestrated by ISIS. Abdulkader, along with Junaid Hussein, a member of ISIS, planned to kill a U.S. military official and attack a local Ohio police station.
Their plan detailed how the military official would be abducted from his/her home and be executed on camera, according to WLWT. They also planned and trained for attacking a police station with firearms and molotov cocktails.
The FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force arrested Abdulkader on May 21, 2015. Abdulkader faces from five years to life in prison which will be decided at the sentencing in October.
His accomplice, Hussein, was apparently killed during a U.S. airstrike in Syria in August 2015.
