Iraq security forces arrest severely obese ISIS member, have trouble moving him

A renowned religious leader of ISIS has been arrested in Iraq, and is fat enough that he had to be loaded into the back of a truck.

Shifa al-Nima, a 300-lb religious leader known as a “mufti,” is a high-ranking member of the Islamic State.

The fat commander was shoved into a truck due to his massive size, squished up against a machine gun.

Some Iraqi Police, Military Personnel and anti-ISIS fighters know al-Nima as “Jabba the Hutt,” the large, slug-like gangster in the original Star Wars trilogy.

Al-Nima is also known as Abu Abdul-Bari, and has been accused of ordering the destruction of the tomb of the Christian/Muslim Prophet Yunus (or Jonah) in Mosul, which was carried out in 2014.

According to the Daily Mail, the man was hiding in a safehouse before he was discovered by Iraqi Security Forces.

“That he is obese, this immobile and this humiliated is yet another blow to ISIS imbeciles who thought God was with them,” said British thinktank founder Maajid Nawaz of the capture.
