Iranian General: US intelligence not aware of Iran’s military capabilities

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said US intelligence reports on Iran’s defense power shows the country’s “limited intelligence” on Iran’s actual strength. 

Brig. Gen. Massoud Jazayeri said that Iran has only allowed the US a glimpse of its military power in an attempt to confuse its “enemies” and prevent an “invasion.”

“Today, the deterrence power of the Islamic Republic is based on active deterrence in way that any aggressor is reduced to annihilation and surrender,” he said.

“It has been years since the threat of war and military aggression against our country has moved away due to our active deterrence power, but this does not mean that we will stop our advancement in various defense areas,” he stressed.

Jazayeri maintained that all instances of war and bloodshed in the region is the result of wrong policies of the US and Israeli regime, as well as all corrupted and reactive governments.according to Mehr News agency.

“Yet, even if the Americans spend ten times more expenses of what they already have for dominating the region, they will never be able to achieve their sinister goals,” he stressed.
