Iranian and Saudi Arabian TV stations have been playing a clip from the 2010 video game, “Medal of Honor” and claiming it is six ISIS members being killed by a Hezbollah sniper.
Hezbollah is a Shia Islamic militant group based out of Lebanon that has been on the U.S. Department of State’s designated foreign terrorist organization list for almost 20 years.
It is not clear were the video originated or how the broadcasters obtained the video but when compared to a gameplay recording of EA’s 2010 shooter Medal of Honor, it is very clear the video is fake.
Iran’s state run TV clearly did not attempt to check into the validity of the video because they went as far as claiming the gun in the video was a Iranian-made Arash anti-material rifle.
