Gunman kills Soldier by shooting him in head in Oklahoma

A Oklahoma National Guard Soldier has died after being shot over the weekend in northwest Oklahoma City, officials said.

Police responded to a reported a shooting about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue.

Officers found two people shot, including 24-year-old Devin Dale Fuller, in the parking lot. Fuller had a gunshot wound to the head, according to a police report.

Fuller was taken to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said an unknown man was seen shooting at Fuller and later fled the scene.

Fuller was assigned to the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Oklahoma National Guard.

Police have not made any arrests. No suspects have been identified.
