A gunman armed with a shotgun was reportedly arrested outside the U.S. embassy in Ankara, Turkey, early Tuesday morning.

The man was identified by Turkish state media as “Şahin S.”

He allegedly attempted to enter the embassy and fired eight to nine shots outside the building. Police arrested him before he could enter the embassy.  Daily Sabah reports the man yelled “don’t play with us” as he was being arrested.

The building is reportedly only a block away from where the Russian ambassador was assassinated on Monday.
