Commanding General, XVIII Airborne Corps (pleaded guilty to adultery with a female captain and inappropriate sexual relationships with two other female officers in 2014): “Faded appearance? Sideburns? Hair on collar?”

General Mark Alexander Milley, 39th Chief of Staff of the Army (previously served as the 21st commanding general of U.S. Army Forces Command):  “Nice speech sir…but we are all staring at your boots trying to figure out why we can’t wear them”

Brigadier General Michael L. Cunniff, The Adjutant General of the New Jersey New Jersey Army and Air National Guard (reprimanded by the Pentagon over his weight in 2015): “If you make Governor Christie look skinny you are probably out of regs”

General Martin Dempsey, 18th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, 37th Chief of Staff of the Army (retired in 2015): “Counting your loose change?”

General James “Jim” Amos, 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps (first Marine Corps aviator to serve as commandant, retired in 2015)

Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, 20th Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force (retired in 2016): “This picture is the only thing that keeps morale high in the USAF”

General David Patraeus, 4th Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, last assignment in the Army was commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and Commander, U.S. Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A). (convicted in 2015 of providing a journalist, who he was having an affair with, access to Top Secret information, retired 2011)
