A Fort Carson soldier and his wife have been confirmed dead following maritime accidents in Colorado, authorities and social media report.
Staff Sergeant (SSG) Joshua Prindle and his wife, Jessica, both perished during waterborne recreational activities in Lake Pueblo over the weekend.
SSG Prindle was the first to go missing, and his spouse -along with 11 other people- embarked on a search and rescue mission to find him.

According to a Facebook Post by the Pueblo Independent News, SSG Prindle’s body was located on Tuesday.
The eleven survivors of the failed rescue attempt, including one child, were rushed to various hospitals and treated for hypothermia.
