A US Army Soldier was found unresponsive in his room last Wednesday at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Spc. Terrence Salazar, 24, who is reported to be a member of the 82nd Airborne, was taken to the hospital after being found and was subsequently pronounced dead.
According to 82nd Airborne Division spokesman Lt. Col. Mike Burns said in an email, attempts to revive Salazar were made but ultimately failed.
“It’s with a heavy heart we announce the passing of a Paratrooper,” Burns said.
Salazar enlisted in 2018 and was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team.
