An unprovoked assault on an elderly veteran was captured on camera in New York City, NY.
The suspect, whose face was obscured by his hooded sweatshirt, repeatedly punched the 67-year-old victim in the face after cornering him at a Bronx apartment building.
After the assault, the suspect used his sweatshirt to wipe his fingerprints from the elevator.
According to the NYPD, a motive is not yet known and they are reaching out to the public to help identify the fugitive.
NYPD crime stoppers are offering a reward of up to $2500 for information.
The victim, who did not want to be identified, was taken to James J. Peters VA Medical Center with cuts and bruises.
According to NBC, the victim lives with his elderly mother in the building and they are now both terrified to leave their home following the brutal attack.
