Cornell University dean advises on starting ISIS club on campus

Joseph Scaffido

A Project Veritas investigative journalist secretly recorded an interview with Joseph Scaffido, an Assistant Dean at Cornell University. In the interview the journalist posed as a student from Morocco and asks Scaffido about starting a club on campus to support ISIS, to which the Assistant Dean seems perfectly fine with.

The journalists questioned if it would be ok if the group would sends care packages to the terrorists to which Scaffido replied, “That’s a good question that. And I think programs like that really do have a good place here at Cornell.”

In the video the journalist also suggests having a “freedom fighter” come to the campus and offer training to the students. This was also acceptable to Scaffido, comparing terrorists training students how to fight to “bringing in a coach, to do a training on a sports team or something.”
