Chinese diplomats caught sneaking into US special operations military base

Two Embassy officials belonging to the People’s Republic of China were removed from the US earlier this year for spying, reportedly driving to a Virginia military base.

The two men involved brought their wives along for the incursion into a restricted special operations military site near Norfolk Naval Base, and are said to have evaded military personnel through the art of persuasion.

Eventually, they were stopped after fire trucks blocked their path.

Chinese diplomats have been showing up more frequently at US government facilities, and US officials believe that the Chinese are ramping up spying efforts.

According to the Daily Mail, both the United States and the PRC were discreet about the expulsions.

It is reported that one of the “diplomats” was actually a PLA Intelligence Officer.
