A so-called “glam” social media influencer in Thailand was shot dead by her Royal Thai military cadet lover, sources state.

Supitcha ‘Gigi’ Preedacharoen, age 20, was fatally shot by ex-boyfriend Phumiphat ‘Nat’ Chaiwanichaya, aged 19.

The military cadet used his father’s firearm before turning the weapon on himself, effectively turning the situation into a murder-suicide.

He was the son of the former Thai Army Chief of Staff, Major General Somchai Chaiwanichaya.

According to the victim’s father, the two had ended their relationship about two months ago, following accusations of abuse on the part of Chaiwanichaya.

“Thank you to everyone who has always followed her,” Gigi’s manager said on social media. “She has always been loved by everyone.”

The domestic incident had been an ongoing thing, to the point where Gigi had feared for her life after the breakup.

According to the Daily Star, it is alleged that Gigi had previously been roughed up multiple times by Chaiwanichaya, with the former posting pictures of bruises and other injuries.

The Thai police are currently looking into the incident and noted that Chaiwanichaya is too young to legally own a firearm in the country.
